This is an open source application, Distributed under the GPLv2 license terms, But really, What should it be called?

the "WordPress Automatic Installer" has that overtone of Automattic, Which has nothing to do with it.. And isnt really.. Catchy..

See my original announcement here: http://dd32.id.au/2009/07/26/announcing-wordpress-automatic-installer/ which called for names.

(?: WordPress) XPress
and
Insta(ll|nt)Press

have been mentioned, as well as a few others via private contact, But what are your thoughts?

Hey Dion! *waves*

Technically, though irrelevant to the actual QI, I have a bug report of sorts for you. Capitalisation throughout the site is a little mismatched.

i.e. "Remember, This is a Open-source project, Suggestions and Patches to the code are welcome." has capitals after commas, which are not needed. The only time you need capitals are for proper nouns and starts of sentences. I'd fix it for you, but it's not a wiki. :P

..Yep, Its on the way, I'll look into it once the initial bugs are ironed out.

I will not be moving to any 3rd-party hosting sites which have integrated bug trackers.

It would be great to automatically allow for remote-installations, Ie. User enters FTP details, and It attempts to install it automatically.

A better option would probably be to implement a file browser which allows the selection of the destination folder.

Currently I've got little time to put into Theming for the main site, and these forums.. If anyone can think up of something already existing which fits both, or feels like making a new theme for me.. I'd appreciate it, You'll get due credit on all uses of the theme.. I'd support releasing it as a GPL theme as well

In short, As well as allowing users to remove default Plugins, They should have the ability to install selected Plugins at the same time, For example, The WordPress.com Stats or various other Plugins.
